Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Anthony began preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ his Junior year in High at the age of 17.  Mother's Day of 2021 Pastor Anthony came to serve the Friendship Church Family.  Pastor Anthony Loves to serve the Lord's Church, His family, and community.  Pastor is married to his bride Carla of 14 years and they parent 3 wonderful, Jaelen, Anniyah, and Ruby and grandparents to 3 amazing grandchildren. , Jalieya, Amoni, and Aelita.  Pastor Woods is a native of Saint Louis, MO where he attended Vashon High School where he began in ministry.  He also pursued his academia studies at Mobap(Missouri Baptist University) immediately after high school and returned to achieve his master's in religious education with emphasis in Pastoral Care in 2010, after completing his studies at Everest University in Business Finance & Marketing.  Currently Pastor is serving as acting moderator of the Mt. Carmel District under the humble leadership of The Rev. Harry D. Williams and as treasurer of the MO Baptist Convention under the leadership of President Linden Bowie.  In just short of 3 years Pastor Woods has become an executive member of The Columbia NAACP and is the recipient of numerous awards.  Outside of the church world Pastor Woods serves as director and facilitator of Fathers Committed To Families at PCDC.  His love for people to know and follow Jesus is evident of his response to the call to serve.
